Social media personality Orhan Awatramani, popularly known as Orry, has once again grabbed attention ahead of his participation in Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 15. He is set to enter the stunt-based reality
show hosted by Rohit Shetty, and he recently made a tongue-in-cheek remark that is going viral on social media ahead of his stint on KKK15. Netizens believe he took a jibe at Bollywood actor Sara Ali Khan, with whom he reportedly shares a strained equation. His comment has sparked buzz on social media and added an extra layer of drama.
Orry Takes Another Dig At Sara Ali Khan?
Orry, known for his strong online presence, has been in the spotlight ever since his participation in Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 was confirmed. In a recent interaction with India Forums, he spoke about the show and its host Rohit Shetty, and expressed his excitement about doing the show. What garnered most attention was his remark about Rohit Shetty’s ability to deliver a ‘big hit’ for Sara Ali Khan with Simmba. He added that if Rohit Shetty could achieve that level of success with her, he would surely be able to do something for him as well.
“Well I have not seen the show, but of course I know Rohit Shetty. And the fact that he has managed to give such a big hit to Sara Ali Khan means I am very excited to be directed by him. If you could have done that for her, you could definitely do it for me,” said Orry. The comment was widely interpreted by netizens as a jibe against Sara, especially as Orry has taken frequent swipes at her career in the past.
When Orry Spoke About Distancing Himself From Sara And Ibrahim
In a chat with Hindustan Times, Orry spoke about distancing himself from Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan. Explaining his decision, he said, “I unfollowed Sara a while ago, and I haven’t followed Ibrahim in years.” He added, “Pretending to be friends with Sara means pretending to be ok with the trauma her mother put me through, and I just don’t think I can do that anymore.”
While Orry chose not to elaborate on what he described as “trauma,” he made it clear that the issue runs deeper than online spats or unfollows. According to him, there is only one way the situation could potentially be resolved. “If Amrita Singh were to apologise, I could maybe see myself letting it go in the future,” he said.
