A lighthearted dare quickly turned into a viral sensation after Instagram influencer @prannayjoshi accepted a follower-suggested dare and turned it into a public performance aboard a Mumbai local train.
According to the clip, the influencer was dared to dress up as an air hostess and make announcements inside a Mumbai local train. The on-screen text read, “Mumbai local me Air Hostess banke announcement karke dikha.”
Taking the challenge seriously, he visited a costume store and rented a bright red uniform consisting of a skirt and coat. He completed the look with white shoes and socks, fully embracing the role before heading to the train.
Before boarding, he is heard jokingly asking, “Me gents coach me bethu ya ladies me?” a remark that set the tone for what was to follow. Once inside the train, his unusual attire quickly caught the attention of fellow passengers, some of whom began clicking pictures.
He then delivered a humorous in-train announcement, mimicking the style of airline cabin crew. “Namashkaar, aap sabka Air Borivali me swagat hai, jinko bhi seat mili hai vo attitude kam rakhe or jinko nahi mili vo agle station ka intezaar kare,” he announced, drawing smiles from those around him.
He continued with, “2 dwar aage ki taraf, 2 dwar piche ki taraf, par platform kidhr aaega vo mujhe nahi pta. Aap sabse nivedan hai ki apne samaan ka ache se dhyaan rakhe, emergency ki doraan apni nazdeeki chain ko turant kheech le.”
The performance ended with applause and cheers from passengers, clearly entertained by the unexpected act during their commute. As the video spread across social media, reactions poured in, reflecting a mix of amusement, disbelief, and concern.
