Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke on Thursday mocked Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s latest Instagram video, in which the PM highlighted the passage of the Public Examinations (Prevention
of Unfair Means) Amendment Bill, 2026, and outlined the government’s plans to overhaul the country’s examination system.
In the selfie-style address, Modi described the legislation as a major reform aimed at restoring transparency and credibility to public examinations. Commenting on PM Modi’s video, Dipke said, “Your skin is brighter than the country’s future.”
What PM Modi Said In Late-Night Video
In the video, PM Modi asserted that the government would crack down on the “paper mafia” through stricter legal provisions and greater use of technology, saying the new law would help curb malpractices and strengthen the integrity of the examination process.
“For the past several decades, every state and the Central government have faced the problem of paper leaks. As a result, the future of our children has been put at risk. We are continuously taking one step after another to ensure a reliable examination system. A fast-track mechanism is being put in place, and suggestions from various stakeholders are also being taken into account,” PM Modi said.

“Whether it is the creation of a task force, the establishment of a fast-track mechanism, or taking into account the suggestions of the states, we are working on all fronts. No paper mafia, no gang involved in paper leaks, and no gang that plays with the future of the country’s children will be spared,” the prime minister added.
‘Become An Influencer’: Dipke To PM Modi
The latest comment comes a day after Dipke took a swipe at PM Modi over his viral social media videos, saying he would be better suited as an influencer than as the country’s leader.
Speaking to reporters after returning to his hometown of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar following the month-long Jantar Mantar protest over the NEET paper leak, Dipke was asked whether he had watched the Prime Minister’s videos on social media.
Responding to the question, Dipke quipped, “I think he would do very well as an influencer. He is doing an excellent job in that role. Perhaps he should step down as Prime Minister and become an influencer, while someone else handles the responsibilities of governing.”
PM Modi’s Instagram Outreach
The remarks come against the backdrop of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent Instagram outreach amid the nationwide protests over the alleged NEET paper leak.
Over the past week, the Prime Minister shared four selfie-style videos on the platform.

In the first, he described paper leaks as a “serious issue” and assured students that the government would introduce stricter measures to curb examination malpractices.
He followed it up with a second video thanking young people for their suggestions and engagement, before posting a third reel announcing the constitution of a high-powered task force on examination reforms under the leadership of Infosys co-founder Nandan Nilekani.
The videos garnered hundreds of millions of views and sparked widespread discussion on social media.
The prime minister had started sharing videos at a time when the country was marred by multiple protests across states over the NEET paper leak, which was spearheaded by the CJP.
Amid mounting pressure and violent protests, Dharmendra Pradhan resigned from the position of education minister, after which the CJP called off the protests. On Thursday, the Parliament also passed the anti-paper leak bill, which will now be turned into a law after getting approval from the president.
