A Lamborghini Aventador, worth a whopping Rs 10 crore, caught fire on a busy road in Bengaluru.
In a video that went viral, people could be seen rushing with fire extinguishers as the luxury supercar went up in flames.
As per NDTV, the car reportedly belonged to Instagram influencer Sanjeev, better known as Nimma Mane Maga Sanju. The incident left many stunned, but one man in particular took to social media to voice serious concerns – business tycoon Gautam Singhania.

Why Is Singhania Upset?
Gautam Singhania, chairman of the Raymond Group and a known automobile enthusiast, shared the viral video on Instagram with a strong message, as per Hindustan Times.
“Another day, another Lamborghini in flames. This time in Bengaluru,” he wrote. “This isn’t a ‘rare incident’ anymore. It’s a pattern. Why is Lamborghini silent? Why are their cars catching fire? Are they even safe for Indian roads?”
His post didn’t just express frustration—it posed some serious questions about the brand’s responsibility and safety standards.
Has This Happened Before?
This isn’t the first time a Lamborghini has gone up in flames in India. Back in December 2024, a Lamborghini Revuelto burned in Mumbai. Singhania had raised similar concerns then too, questioning the brand’s quality control.
“For the price and reputation, one expects uncompromising quality—not potential hazards,” he had said at the time.
Who Is Gautam Singhania?
Apart from leading Raymond Group, Singhania is also the founder of the Super Car Club in India. He has raced in the Ferrari Challenge series and was seen at this year’s Monaco Grand Prix, proving his deep love for high-performance cars.
