A lot of names have been circulating online as potential participants in the show. Now, a fresh report suggests that Indian cricketer Shubman Gill’s sister, Shahneel Gill, will be joining the show.

Shahneel Gill, the sister of Indian cricketer Shubman Gill, is ready to step into the world of reality television as a contestant on The Traitors India Season 2. The development has already sparked curiosity among fans, given her growing presence on social media and public recognition. With this unexpected entry, Shahneel’s participation is likely to add a new dynamic to the show, further heightening anticipation around the upcoming season.
Meanwhile, Neha Dhupia’s name was also doing the rounds. But on March 25, the actress put an end to the speculations and denied her association. She wrote in a note, “Neither am I a “traitor” nor am I an “innocent”. I’m just too busy going on #DOUBLEDATEs Coming soon” followed by a wink emoji. Even Bipasha Basu’s name was reported earlier. However, the actress apparently backed out of the show. A source earlier told TOI, “In fact, the conversations even went till advanced stages; however, Bipasha then told the team that she is not keen to do any reality show.”
Recent reports indicate that Elvish Yadav and Rubina Dilaik will no longer be part of the Karan Johar-hosted reality show. On the other hand, Krystle D’Souza, who impressed audiences with her dance performance in Dhurandhar, has reportedly been locked in as a contestant. The lineup is shaping up to be quite diverse, with names like Munawar Faruqui, Shweta Tiwari, Shalini Passi, Abhishek Malhan, Dalip Tahil, and Parul Gulati said to be confirmed participants. Adding to the intrigue, Mallika Sherawat is also rumoured to be joining the show and has reportedly already arrived in Jaisalmer to begin shooting. However, an official announcement from the makers regarding the final contestant list is still awaited.
