Popular comedian and TV host Bharti Singh shares a close bond with Kapil Sharma. She recently appeared on Raj Shamani’s podcast and opened up about how Kapil Sharma has made her a better comedian. Bharti Singh said
that Kapil never shies away from helping her and guiding her in her career. She called him a down-to-earth, honest person who always wishes well for others.
Bharti Singh was asked how much of a role Kapil Sharma plays in her life. She said, “Bohot bada.” She agreed that he is an icon and added, “People say that he said this and that, but I have seen his hard work. He sits alone… He doesn’t need a writer. He only needs a writer for typing.”
Bharti recalled how Kapil helped her become a better comedian by giving her valuable tips. Bharti mentioned that despite his success, Kapil never shies away from guiding others, and this only makes him better. She said, “Kapil Sharma ke upar toh koi nahi hai na? Main bohot maanti hoon unko, and aaj bhi kabhi down sa feel hota toh voh phone karte hain, mera bohot aana jaana hai unke ghar. Mere liye ek energy boost hai voh.”
She said that while people from the same field often put each other down, Kapil Sharma always motivates his fellow comedians. She recalled Kapil’s words: “Oye tu sher hai. Tu jo kar sakti hai, koi nahi kar sakta.” She added, “Aapko lagta hai ki accha inhone bol diya agar toh mere paas teen hi goliyan hai par main 30 chala sakti hoon.”
Bharti mentioned how Kapil has always been supportive of her career and has ridiculed her opportunities. She said, “He is always giving away opportunities, no matter who it is.” She said Kapil is a different person on and off the stage. Backstage, Kapil still gets nervous chills and sweats despite his stellar career.
She mentioned that the best part about Kapil is his groundedness. “Bohot down-to-earth hai. Stage pe pata nahi kaise dikhte hain aap log ko voh… lekin maine voh bande ko personally jaana hai. Bohot down-to-earth, baat sunte hain, itna appreciate karte hain kyuki voh banda jhoota nahi hai,” she said. Bharti Singh said she celebrates all her festivals with Kapil because he always motivates her.
