All about Kartik Aaryan’s next with Kabir Khan
After a successful collaboration, Kabir and Kartik have started working on their second project. According to Variety India, Kartik has undergone intense physical training for his role. He will reportedly play the role of a coach who helps a young Kashmiri girl get to the championship from a conflict-affected region. The report suggests that the shooting has already started in Kashmir and Kartik has wrapped up his first schedule.
The second schedule is said to kick-start in March. The film will largely be shot in Srinagar and Pahalgam, and it is expected to be wrapped by October 2026. The makers are planning to release the film in 2027. The yet-untitled film is inspired by the life of Tajamul Islam, India’s youngest kickboxing world champion and the first Kashmiri to clinch a sub-junior world title. Hailing from Bandipora in North Kashmir, she achieved the milestone when she was just 7. The film will showcase her journey, highlighting her remarkable accomplishments and the challenges she overcame, while aiming to inspire young aspirants striving for excellence despite difficult circumstances.
Kartik and Kabir are yet to officially announce the project.
Meanwhile, Kartik also has Captain India in the pipeline. Recently, it was reported that Chak De! India director Shimit Amin will helm the project after Hansal Mehta’s exit. He also has Nagzilla and Anurag Basu’s musical love story with Sreeleela.
