IBPS PO 2025 Prelims Result Date: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) will announce the results of the Probationary Officers (PO) 2025 preliminary exams this month. The prelims were conducted
on August 17, 23, and 24. According to the IBPS notification, the result will be announced in September 2025. Once released, candidates can check their results on the official website, ibps.in, by logging in with their registration or roll number and password or date of birth.
Last year, the IBPS PO prelims were held until October 20 and the results were declared on November 21.
To qualify, candidates must secure the minimum cut-off marks in each section. Those who meet the cut-off will be shortlisted for the Online Main Examination, which is the next stage of the recruitment process.
IBPS applies a penalty for incorrect answers in the prelims. For every wrong answer, one-fourth (0.25) of the marks assigned to that question is deducted. There is no penalty for unattempted questions.
How To Download IBPS PO 2025 Prelims Result?
Step 1: Visit the official IBPS website at ibps.in.
Step 2: Click on the “IBPS PO/MT Prelims Result 2025” link on the homepage.
Step 3: Enter your registration number/roll number and password or date of birth.
Step 4: Submit the details to view your result.
Step 5: Download and save the scorecard for future reference. Candidates can also take a printout of their result.

Candidates are advised to keep checking the official IBPS website for updates and complete recruitment details. In the Online Main Examination, each candidate must secure the minimum score in every section as well as a minimum total score to qualify for the personality test and interview.
