Border 2 is all set to hit theatres on January 23 and advance bookings opened on January 19. The buzz around the film is palpable, with fans eagerly sharing their excitement and lining up to book tickets
in advance. From trailers to teasers, every bit of the film’s promotion has only added to the growing anticipation.
The first-day advance booking report is now out, and the numbers are already creating a lot of chatter. Early trends suggest that Border 2 is poised for a decent opening, with audiences clearly excited to witness the action-packed sequel on the big screen.
Border 2 Advance Booking: Day 1 Report
Border 2’s advance booking day 1 report is out. According to Sachnilk, the film has sold 55,223 tickets so far, bringing the gross advance booking collection to Rs. 1.75 crore. This figure does not include block seats; if those are added, the collection will jump to Rs. 4.62 crore. Looking at the state-wise division, the northern belt appears to be leading in advance bookings, showing strong early interest from audiences in that region.
Comparison With Other Films
Border 2 has not been able to surpass Dhurandhar in terms of day 1 advance bookings. The Ranveer Singh starrer earned Rs. 9.2 crore without block seats, which went up to Rs. 14 crore after including them. In comparison, Sunny Deol’s Jaat recorded Rs. 2.37 crore without block seats, with its collection rising to Rs. 6.27 crore when block seats were factored in.
While Border 2 hasn’t matched these numbers till now, its collections are far from underwhelming. With the release just days away and the added advantage of a Republic Day holiday, it will be interesting to see how the film performs in the coming days.
