The Suryakumar Yadav-led Indian men’s cricket team faced Namibia in their second Group A match of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 on Thursday (February 12) in Delhi and secured a big win by 93 runs. After
being invited to bat first by Namibia skipper Gerhard Erasmus, India rode on half-centuries from Ishan Kishan and Hardik Pandya to post a total of 209/9 in their quota of 20 overs and then successfully defended it by bowling Namibia out for 116 in 18.2 overs.
The win by 93 runs over Namibia on Thursday is India’s biggest win by run margin in the T20 World Cup.
The previous record of biggest win by run margin in a T20 World Cup match for India was 90, which they registered against England in Colombo on September 23, 2012.

For India, world No. 1 T20I bowler Varun Chakaravarthy picked up 3 wickets for 7 runs in two overs, and two Namibian batters each were sent back to the pavilion by Axar Patel and Hardik Pandya.
The 93-run win over Namibia on Thursday helped India extend their winning run in the T20 World Cup to 10 matches in a row. The Men in Blue will now face arch-rivals Pakistan in their third Group A match of the T20 World Cup 2026 on Sunday (February 15) in Colombo.
