from Himalayan Bungee Jumping and a tourist, struggling to gather the courage to jump. The way the instructor was giving her confidence with his kind and encouraging words, left social media users impressed. He repeatedly reminded the woman that she is completely safe and told her to trust herself rather than overthink.
Instructor’s Calm Words Ease Tourist’s Fear
The video, shared on Instagram, shows a young woman getting nervous before taking the leap. Standing at the edge of the platform, the instructor calmly tells her about the process, all while encouraging her by saying, “The best part of life is about to happen.” When she kept asking for extra time, he replied, “One minute doesn’t help you here, time won’t help you here. Everyone feels scared, it’s normal, but here you have to prove yourself, not to others, only to yourself.”
At one moment, she speaks about her feelings and asks if it will hurt. The instructor gives her assurance, saying, “There’s no pain, you’re 200% safe. Just close your eyes and jump. You’re just overthinking, you’re using your mind too much. Here, don’t use your mind for overthinking, today, listen to your heart.”
