Busy Delhi roads rarely slow down for anything, especially during peak traffic hours. But a moment captured on camera recently offered a brief paus,e not because of chaos but because of collective action.
A video circulating online shows a car breaking down in the middle of traffic in Delhi and eventually disrupting the flow on a busy road. The vehicle, a Maruti Ertiga, appears to have stalled suddenly, forcing other cars to halt behind. What followed next caught the attention of social media users.
Mercedes Owner Steps Out To Help Ertiga Car Owner In Delhi
As seen in the clip, several people step out of their vehicles and begin pushing the Ertiga towards the roadside so traffic can resume smoothly. Among those helping is a man dressed in a white top and jeans. The video was filmed by another commuter from a nearby car, who narrates the moment in real time.
“Ek cheez dikhaun bhai. Ye jo banda dhakka maar raha hai na Ertiga wale ko, ab ye jaake Mercedes mein baithega (Let me show you something, brother. The guy who’s pushing the Ertiga right now. Watch, he is about to go and sit in a Mercedes),” the man recording the video can be heard saying.
The group manages to push the stalled car safely to the side near a petrol pump. Once the Ertiga is out of the way and traffic begins moving again, the man in white walks back and gets into a black Mercedes parked nearby.
An overlay text on the video reads, “Mercedes nahi, aaj insaniyat chamki (Not the Mercedes, but humanity shone today).”

Clip Crosses Millions Of Views Online
Since being uploaded, the video has gained massive traction on social media as it accumulated nearly 16 million views. In the comment section, people shared varied thoughts on the situation.
One user commented, “That is why he has a Mercedes,” while another wrote, “Isliye hi toh Mercedes ke layak hai who (That’s exactly why he deserves a Mercedes).”
“At least he stepped out to help instead of waiting inside his car. Kudos to everyone who helped,” someone else remarked.
A person wrote, “Premium behaviour in a premium car.”
At the same time, some viewers questioned the focus of the video. A few pointed out that the person recording could have also stepped out to help instead of filming with individual writing, “Aur tu video bana raha hai, kya yr? (And you’re just making a video, what’s that about?).”
“Video banana wale kisi ki help nahi karte (The one who record videos do not help anyone),” another added.
Others noted that several people assisted in moving the Ertiga not just the Mercedes owner and questioned why only one individual was being highlighted.
