Living in a luxury high-rise society may look perfect from the outside, but one Noida resident says the reality feels very different. In a video shared on Instagram, Puneet Jindal explained why he believes
expensive city apartments often come with stress, noise and discomfort despite having premium facilities.
The clip has now started conversations online, with many people agreeing that modern city life can sometimes feel tiring and overcrowded. Others, however, defended urban living and said big cities still offer better career opportunities and convenience.
He First Showed The Luxury Facilities
In the video, Puneet Jindal begins by giving viewers a tour of his residential society in Noida. He shows the swimming pool, clubhouse, sports courts, yoga area, steam bath and sauna inside the complex.
While showing the facilities, he says, “I am sharing my experience. A flat worth crores has zero value, zero in my eyes. I don’t know about your point of view.”
He then adds, “Let me show you some good things first. Look, this swimming pool is built. This is a very wonderful club built inside my society. Like, there is volleyball, basketball, cricket, it’s pretty good.”
But after praising the facilities, he starts explaining why he still feels unhappy living there.
He Says The Flat Feels Uncomfortable
Jindal said daily life inside the apartment has become difficult because of poor ventilation and the way flats are designed. “Why this feels like hell, let me start telling you a bit of the story behind it,” he says in the video.
He explains that the smell of cooking spreads across the house because of the open kitchen setup. “My wife is tempering the food. And the problem with me is, it has already spread now. I normally sit here. I come out and sit here. I meditate here. Sneeze after sneeze starts,” he says.
He also complains about foul smells from washrooms and heat coming from multiple air conditioners running across the building. “Everyone’s AC is running, brother. This whole place becomes a furnace, brother. There is no such thing as fresh air here,” he adds.
He Compares City And Village Life
Jindal further talks about the pressure of paying home loans in big cities.
According to him, many people spend most of their salary on EMIs and continue working long hours just to maintain their lifestyle. “A 20-year loan… from morning till evening, you have to do an 8, 10-hour job. 50, 60, 70% of your salary goes into the loan. You are at risk. You are a slave,” he says.
Comparing urban life with village living, he argues that cleaner air, lower costs and a slower routine make rural life more peaceful. “If you are earning 25,000 in a village and earning 1 lakh in a city, keep in mind, it is equal,” he says.
