Hrithik Roshan may be taking his first major step towards a bigger international presence. The Bollywood star has signed with a leading Hollywood management and production company, sparking speculation
about whether a global project could be in the works.
According to Deadline, Hrithik has joined Anonymous Content, a company known for producing and backing some of Hollywood’s most acclaimed films and television shows. While there has been no announcement about a Hollywood film or series featuring the actor, the development has already generated excitement among fans.
Deadline described Hrithik as “one of the highest-grossing Indian actors” as it reported on the partnership.
Anonymous Content has been associated with several award-winning projects over the years, including The Revenant, Spotlight and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
Hrithik has been one of Bollywood’s biggest stars since making his debut with Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai, directed by his father Rakesh Roshan. The film was a massive success and turned him into an overnight sensation.
Over the years, he has delivered several popular films, including War, Super 30, Guzaarish, Koi… Mil Gaya, Krrish, Jodhaa Akbar and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara.
On the work front, Hrithik is gearing up to return as Krishna Mehra in Krrish 4, one of the most-awaited projects in his career. He is also set to make his debut as a producer with Storm, a thriller being developed for Prime Video.
Hrithik’s latest move comes at a time when more Indian stars are expanding their careers internationally. Among the most successful examples is Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who built a strong career in Hollywood after gaining international attention through music collaborations and later starring in the television series Quantico.
Priyanka has since featured in films such as Baywatch, A Kid Like Jake, We Can Be Heroes and Isn’t It Romantic. Most recently, she appeared in Heads of State alongside John Cena and Idris Elba.
Other Indian stars such as Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Sonam Kapoor, Vidyut Jammwal and Radhika Apte have also signed with international agencies in recent years.
