but one person questioned her parenting by saying that she has “forgotten” about her two daughters, Willa and Delphine, whom she shares with her ex-husband Joe Jonas. Sophie didn’t ignore the rude remark and responded smartly by explaining that sometimes people don’t understand how shared custody works. The Game of Thrones star reminded everyone that her kids might have been with their father that day.
Fan Question Sophie Turner’s Parenting
Turner shared her exciting concert experience, which was supposed to be a fun celebration with friends. However, not everyone saw it positively, as one individual wrote, “lmfao I think she has forgotten that she has two kids.”
Soon after Sophie Turner came across the mean comment, she replied, “I’m so sorry, sometimes I forget some people can’t think for themselves. So, get this, there’s this crazy thing called shared custody. Maybe, just maybe, they were with their dad that day.”
Co-Parenting After Divorce
Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas were married for five years before they separated in September 2024. After their split, they had a custody dispute over their two young daughters. Later, they reached an agreement and decided to co-parent Willa and Delphin together.
In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar UK, a month after her divorce, Turner shared how hard it is for her to be away from her children. She described the period as “absolute agony.”
According to the actress, becoming a mother has “changed me so much in every way. Before I had kids, I was very depressed and anxious, and I would isolate (myself) a lot. Now, I think I live my life for them. I want them to see me having a social life and enjoying work and thriving in my career and relationships. I want them to see a hard-working mum. I’ll come back and say, ‘This is why Mummy was away, it’s because she’s doing this for you, so Father Christmas can come with a big bundle of presents’.”
