Parliament Monsoon Session Live Updates: A special session in the Lok Sabha will begin at 2 PM today, with a key focus on the space sector, including a discussion on the mission led by Shubhanshu Shukla.
Union Minister Jitendra Singh will begin the discussion.
The Jan Vishwas (Amendment of Provisions) Bill, 2025, is also set to be introduced in the Lok Sabha on Monday. The bill will be introduced by Congress and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal.
Meanwhile, both the houses during this monsoon session have witnessed ruckus as the Opposition continues with their demand to hold a discussion on Special Intensive Revision (SIR). On Friday, the leaders of opposition parties held a protest from Parliament to the Election Commission Office alleging ‘vote chori”.
Amid frequent adjournments in both houses, senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh on Tuesday argued that it was the “obstinacy” of the Narendra Modi government that was responsible for repeated adjournments in both houses of the Parliament.
“Opposition parties have been demanding a discussion, and the obstinacy of the Modi Govt has led to both Houses being adjourned and walkout by the Opposition,” Ramesh, Congress general secretary incharge of communications, posted on X.
