Imtiaz Ali’s Main Vaapas Aaunga, released in theatres on June 12, has seen a strong surge at the box office. The film starring Naseeruddin Shah, Diljit Dosanjh, Sharvari, and Vedang Raina has performed
well, driven by positive word of mouth. As the film sees box office growth, Sharvari has penned an emotional note thanking the audiences for showing up in theatres to watch the film. She wrote that her ‘heart is full’ seeing the love that the film is getting, and she often has tears in her own eyes reading the messages and videos that people have been sharing. Her co-star Vedang Raina reacted to her post saying she deserves all the love coming her way.
Sharvari Reacts to Main Vaapas Aaunga’s Box Office Surge
Sharvari took to Instagram to share screenshots of articles, posts, and appreciation coming her way, as well as the growing praise for Main Vaapas Aaunga. “I don’t know if there’s a greater feeling than seeing something you poured your heart into find a place in other people’s hearts. The messages, the videos, the tears, the conversations, the love… I’ve been reading and watching all of it, often with tears in my own eyes,” she wrote in the caption.
“Every actor dreams of being a part of a story that stays with people long after they leave the theatre. Meanwhile, Main Vaapas Aaunga continues to show encouraging box office performance. As per Sacnilk, the film has collected ₹24.25 crore net and ₹29 crore gross in India. Internationally, it has earned ₹11.75 crore, bringing its total worldwide gross to ₹40.75 crore.
