Jr NTR has just added another big film to his exciting lineup, and it’s already become the talk of social media. The actor dropped a surprise announcement on Monday, but instead of revealing too much,
he left fans with a mysterious poster that’s now being decoded from every possible angle.
The actor is joining hands with filmmaker Trivikram Srinivas once again, eight years after the success of Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava. The makers are keeping the story under wraps as of now.
Sharing the news on social media, Jr NTR wrote, “The Son of Shiva. The Pride of Parvathi. The Eternal Commander. And, once again with TRIVIKRAM. #NTRxTrivikram.”

The announcement poster features a trishul wrapped in a DNA-shaped cloud, with a battlefield in the background. It also carries the line, “One spear, one purpose, one divine reckoning.”
Producer Naga Vamsi had already built up excitement before the reveal. A day earlier, he posted, “Finally. My most awaited day is tomorrow,” along with a peacock emoji. On Monday, just hours before the announcement, he shared another cryptic post that read, “The time has come to unleash the unparalleled power of Trivikram Srinivas’ pen to the world on the grandest canvas of his career, a canvas without boundaries, without limitations. His most ambitious vision begins unfolding in just a few hours.”
After officially unveiling the project, he added, “Born in the North. Forged in the Heartland. Worshipped in the South. Now… A tale destined to belong to the universe.”
It didn’t take long for fans to start connecting the dots. The trishul, spear, peacock emoji and references to “The Eternal Commander” led many to believe the film could be inspired by Kartikeya, also known as Lord Muruga. The comments section quickly filled up with reactions like “NTR as kumara swamy,” and “MURUGAAAAAAA.” Others simply dropped peacock emojis, while one fan wrote, “DNA logo undi ante, from new age to godage aa (There’s a DNA logo, so the film will go from new age to God age?)”
Jr NTR and Trivikram previously worked together on the 2018 blockbuster Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava, which also featured Pooja Hegde, Jagapathi Babu, Naveen Chandra and Eesha Rebba. The film collected around ₹190 crore worldwide and was praised for its emotional story about a man trying to end a long-standing family feud after his father’s death.
Since then, Jr NTR has delivered RRR, Devara: Part 1 and made his Bollywood debut with War 2. RRR went on to earn over ₹1,200 crore worldwide, while Devara: Part 1 grossed ₹428 crore despite mixed reviews. War 2, co-starring Hrithik Roshan, collected ₹364.35 crore globally.
Before this newly announced film goes on floors, Jr NTR will first be seen in Prashanth Neel’s Dragon. Set in 1967 and centred around the international opium trade, the film stars him as Luger. The teaser introduced him as an assassin, although many fans believe there’s more to the character than meets the eye. Also starring Rukmini Vasanth, Anil Kapoor and Ashutosh Rana, Dragon is slated to release on June 11, 2027.
As for Trivikram Srinivas, the filmmaker last directed Guntur Kaaram with Mahesh Babu and Sreeleela and is currently busy with Aadarsha Kutumbam House No. 47, starring Venkatesh and Srinidhi Shetty.
