Congress MP Sudha’s gold chain was snatched on Monday morning in the Chanakyapuri area of the national capital. The incident took place near Tamil Nadu Bhawan, where the MP currently resides.

incident took place in the early hours while the MP was outside the premises. Despite the area being one of Delhi’s most secured zones, housing several embassies and VIP residences, the assailant managed to flee the scene.
Delhi Police has registered a case and launched an investigation. CCTV footage from the area is being reviewed to identify the accused, and multiple teams have been formed to trace the culprit.
The incident has sparked concern over safety lapses in the capital’s diplomatic enclave.
