Supercars hit the streets every Sunday
Every Sunday, supercar enthusiasts gather at Reclamation in Bandra before taking their cars for a drive along the Bandra-Worli Sea Link. The drive often ends at Horniman Circle in Fort, where luxury cars like Lamborghinis, BMWs, McLarens, and Ferraris line up.
Why does it happen?
Luxury car owners choose Sundays for their drives because the roads are much quieter, making it easier to enjoy their vehicles. This creates a mini car show, attracting passersby to stop, watch the rare treat and capture photos.
It gives early risers a glimpse into some of the world’s most expensive cars right on Mumbai’s streets.
When and where can you spot it?
For vintage car enthusiasts, Horniman Circle, located next to St. Thomas Cathedral in Fort, is the ideal spot on Sunday mornings. Visitors are advised to arrive between 7:00 am and 8:30 am, as the cars typically leave for their drive around 8:30 am.
Those hoping to spot supercars should head to the area outside Bombay Coffee House in Fort, where they can catch the spectacle up close between 8:00 am and 9:30 am.
Price of the cars
The Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica alone costs around Rs 4 to 4.5 crore on-road, BMWs seen in the videos start at over Rs 1 crore, and Ferraris can easily range from Rs 4 crore to over Rs 12 crore.
