Kerala is a destination that has been on every traveller’s radar for years. With its backwaters, green paddy fields and calm vibe, it gives an experience unlike anywhere else. A video recently caught widespread
attention online that shows one of the water villages up close.
The spotlight in the video falls on Kadamakudy, a village made up of 14 small islands near Kochi. From above, the drone footage shows canals cutting across the land and paddies stretching across the islands. Watching the video, it is easy to see how water shapes almost everything in the village.
If you’re planning a visit to Kerala, then Kadamakudy should be on your list.
