IndiGo is going through a tough time as large numbers of flights continue to be delayed or cancelled, leaving passengers across the country upset. Long queues, tired travellers and busy staff have become
a common sight at many airports, as the airline tries to bring things back to normal. Social media has been filled with complaints, as the sudden disruptions have disturbed their plans. Iin the middle of all this chaos, one passenger had a completely different experience as her flight had no problems at all.
According to her, the aircraft took off on time, landed even earlier than expected and her luggage arrived without any trouble. She joked about feeling lucky by calling her “god’s favourite child,” while others are dealing with delays. She also shared a screenshot of her boarding pass and mentioned that she travelled from Jodhpur to Bengaluru.
One Passenger Shares Smooth IndiGo Journey
Even though the woman tried to show the positive side of the IndiGo situation, many social media users joked that her post looked like a PR attempt to make the airline look better. Others laughed and said she was simply the lucky person who didn’t face any problems while everyone else struggled.
Taking to X (Formerly Twitter), the woman wrote, “Took an IndiGo flight. Flew on time. Landed before time. Got my luggage without drama. Am I god’s favourite child or what?”

Reacting to the post, a user joked, “No, you are a client of Indigo’s PR team.”
Another shared, “Or maybe you are the devil’s favourite child and that even Indigo is scared of. They would have arranged a private jet if they could, try asking for the same next time please.”
“Mostly the ATRs are flying on time. If it was an ATR, then it makes sense. (Few a320/21 are on time too),” a comment read.
An individual stated, “Breaking: IndiGo is studying your kundli for operational planning. You unlocked the ‘IndiGo Premium Miracles’ subscription.”

IndiGo CEO Says Their Performance Is Gradually Improving
Last week was very tense as most IndiGo flights were getting cancelled. The airline tried to bring things back to normal by running 1650 flights out of its usual 2300 daily domestic and international flights on Sunday. Even then, around 650 flights were still cancelled. IndiGo said its operations are slowly improving after facing major disruptions.
In an internal message sent to the staff, the CEO said the airline expected its on-time performance to reach 75 per cent on Sunday. He explained that the team managed to run around 1650 flights that day by improving the system and planning better. He also said they tried to cancel flights earlier than usual so that passengers would know in advance and will not reach the airport only to find their flight cancelled.
