Rakesh Roshan Shares Production Update
Speaking to Bollywood Hungama on his 76th birthday, Rakesh Roshan offered a candid update about the film’s status. Known for his meticulous approach to filmmaking, the director-producer shared that while scripting was wrapped up fairly quickly, it was the budget that demanded the most attention.
“Now that we have an idea of the definite budget required for this film, we’ll be starting the film,” Roshan said, reassuring fans that the project is moving steadily toward production.
Shooting Timeline Locked
The filmmaker further revealed that pre-production work is already in full swing. Given the scale and complexity of the superhero drama, Rakesh explained that the groundwork must be exhaustive before cameras roll. As a result, the shooting schedule has been locked for mid-2026, with filming expected to continue until late 2026.
When asked about the release timeline, Rakesh Roshan confirmed that fans can expect Krrish 4 to arrive in 2027. “We plan to release it in 2027,” he said, putting an end to speculations about whether the project would be pushed further into 2028.
