Trisha hits back at retirement rumours
On April 7, Trisha took to her Instagram story to react to the ongoing rumours surrounding her career. After it was reported that she might stop featuring in films, she put an end to the speculations with a witty post. She asked whether she should add to the list of rumours or if today’s “fiction quota” is over. Her post read, “Apparently I’ve quit films, married a rich businessman and I’m raising quadruplets who turned two yesterday! Anything else I should add or did we cover today’s fiction quota?” Have a look:
After the filmmaker made his statement, the claims went viral on social media, leaving Trisha’s fans disappointed. However, with her rubbishing the reports, the speculation has now been put to rest, offering clarity and relief to her fans.
Meanwhile, Trisha recently made headlines after she made a joint appearance with Vijay at a friend’s wedding in Chennai. The videos of them arriving together instantly went viral amid his ongoing divorce proceedings with his wife, Sangeetha. Vijay’s wife recently filed for divorce, accusing him of infidelity among other allegations. Vijay and Trisha were seen attending the wedding in colour-coordinated outfits, further fuelling the rumours.
