Like every other year, Bollywood celebrities are all set to celebrate this festive season with their closest ones. In this Diwali, Shilpa Shetty was seen in full festive mood as she shared glimpses of
delectable sweet boxes, home décor and all the preparation at her house.
Sharing a sneak peek into the process, Shilpa took to Instagram Stories and posted a video which showed her sister Shamita Shetty.
Shilpa Shetty’s Banter With Sister Shamita Shetty
In the video, Shamita was seen drawing a beautiful lotus rangoli as Shilpa filmed her. Impressed by Shamita’s beautiful rangoli, Shilpa jokingly stated, “Wah, when you have an artist in the house…wah, Shamita, very nice, darwaze ke paas bhi karna haan,” followed by hilarious laughter. To which her little sister asked, “Anything else?” channelling fun sibling banter. “When one can’t draw a line straight, we rely on sisters,” Shilpa noted jokingly.
The Sukhee actress further shared another video which hilariously highlighted the two sisters; different approaches to the traditional art. While Shamita was seen patiently crafting a stunning rangoli completely by hand, Shilpa went for an easier method. She opted for stencils to create some colourful rangoli designs. At the end of the video, both the sisters were seen lighting up diyas and wishing everyone “Happy Diwali”.

Shilpa Shetty Navigates Fraud Allegations
Amid the festive preparation, the actress is also navigating a 60 crore cheating case. She, along with her husband Raj Kundra, is facing allegations over the misuse of a large amount of money. It was registered after a businessman named Deepak Kothari alleged that he was influenced into investing 60 crore in Best Deal TV Pvt Ltd, a company linked to Raj, but the funds were diverted for personal use. The case is ongoing in the Bombay High Court.
Shilpa Shetty On the Work Front
Shilpa Shetty recently opened her famed restaurant Bastian in Goa and denied all closing-down speculation. The actress also shared that the iconic Bandra Bastian is turning into a South Indian restaurant named Ammakai, and Bastian is shifting to Juhu with the name Bastian Beach Club.
On the acting front, Shilpa will be next seen in the Kannada action drama KD – The Devil alongside Dhruva Sarja and Sanjay Dutt. On the other hand, Shamita Shetty’s last major acting project was in 2023 when she was seen in a film titled The Tenant.
