Shahid Kapoor has sparked fresh excitement by hinting at the return of Farzi 2. The actor recently took to Instagram to share a photo that has left audiences thinking that the much-awaited second season
of the hit web series is gearing up to go on floors soon.
Taking to his Instagram stories, Shahid Kapoor shared new haircut look which is similar to his Farzi first part. He captioned it as ‘Sunny Days Back Soon’. The photo immediately viral and it is being assumed that the shoot for second season will begin soon. Fans have been waiting for its updates.

According to a Pinkvilla report, Shahid is being paid a whopping Rs 45 crore for the second season, making it the highest acting fee of his career to date. The source noted that while Shahid typically charges between Rs 25 to Rs 30 crore per film, he negotiates a different fee structure for digital projects. The report adds that Farzi 2 is expected to go on floors by the end of 2025. Raj & DK, who are currently busy with their upcoming project Rakt Brahmand, will begin pre-production for the sequel once their ongoing commitments are wrapped up.
Directed by Raj and DK, the black comedy crime thriller also featured Vijay Sethupathi, Kay Kay Menon, Raashii Khanna and Bhuvan Arora in key roles. The series was released on Amazon Prime Video in February earlier this year.

O Romeo marks Vishal Bhardwaj’s reunion with Shahid after over eight years. The two previously worked together on films like Kaminey (2009), Haider (2014), and Rangoon (2017). The film is also Triptii Dimri’s debut collaboration with Vishal and Shahid. Apart from Shahid and Triptii, the cast also includes Nana Patekar, Avinash Tiwary, Disha Patani, Aruna Irani, Vikrant Massey, Farida Jalal, and Tamannaah Bhatia. O Romeo is scheduled to hit theatres on February 13, 2026.
