Produced under the music label T-Series, the video was uploaded on the ‘T-Series Bhakti Sagar’ YouTube channel on 10 May 2011. Voiced by the soulful Hariharan, the “Shree Hanuman Chalisa” is Lalit Sen, Chander. The video features the late Gulshan Kumar, the founder of T-Series. “Shree Hanuman Chalisa” is currently the 14th most-viewed video on YouTube.
First Indian Video To Clock 5 Billion Views?
The first-ever Indian video to register five billion views on YouTube was uploaded by kids’ education channel, namely ‘ChuChu TV Nursery Rhymes & Kids Songs’.
The video, an ABC alphabet song for kids, is titled: “Phonics Song with TWO Words – A For Apple – ABC Alphabet Songs with Sounds for Children”. It was uploaded on 7 March 2014 and currently has 6.81 billion views
With over 6 billion views to its name, “Phonics Song with TWO Words” is currently the 7th most viewed video on YouTube.
What Are The Top 10 Most Viewed Videos?
South Korea’s “Baby Shark Dance” video is currently the most-viewed video of all time on YouTube, with a whopping 16.47 billion views. Baby Shark is followed by Luis Fonsi’s “Despacito” at 8.8 billion views.
“Wheels on the Bus” by ‘Cocomelon’ ranks third in this list with 8.29 billion views. Cocomelon also takes the fourth spot on the most-viewed video of all time with “Bath Song” and currently has 7.31 billion views.
“Johny Johny Yes Papa” by ‘LooLoo Kids’ is at 7.13 billion views which is followed by Wiz Khalifa’s “See You Again” at the no.6 spot that has been viewed 6.86 billion times.
Coming in at 8 is Ed Sheeran’s most famous song, “Shape of You,” which currently has 6.62 billion views to its name. Psy’s “Gangnam Style,” which broke the Internet in 2012, enjoys the 9th rank with 5.78 billion views.
The tenth most-viewed video on YouTube belongs to Mark Ronson’s “Uptown Funk” featuring singer Bruno Mars.
With “Phonics Song with TWO Words” at 7th spot and “Shree Hanuman Chalisa” at 14th, “Lakdi Ki Kathi” by Jingle Toons ranks 17th with 4.53. At 19th place, “Humpty the train on a fruits ride” by ‘Kiddiestv Hindi’ is the fourth Indian upload in the top 20 most viewed videos on YouTube. It has registered 4.32 billion views.
