Cocktail 2, starring Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles, is all set to hit theatres on June 19, 2026. The update has it that the teasers of two highly awaited films may
get attached to the upcoming rom-com. One of the two films whose teasers are supposed to be attached to Cocktail 2 is Prahaar – The Ujjwal Nikam Story, and the other is Eetha, starring Shraddha Kapoor.
Based on the life of public prosecutor Ujjwal Nikam, Prahaar will feature Rajkummar Rao along with Wamiqa Gabbi, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Sikandar Kher. The film will be helmed by Avinash Arun, who recently made headlines for his upcoming web series Pritam And Pedro.
Meanwhile,Eetha will star Shraddha Kapoor in the role of Marathi Tamasha artist Vithabai Narayangaonkar. The movie will be helmed by Laxman Utekar, the Chhaava fame director. It will feature Randeep Hooda and Mohd Zeeshan Ayyub alongside Shraddha Kapoor.
A source confirmed with Bollywood Hungama, “In all probability, these two teasers will be shown with Cocktail 2, though the final call is yet to be taken. In the past, Maddock revealed the teaser of Bhool Chuk Maaf with Chhaava, the Shakti Shalini announcement asset with Thamma, Chhaava teaser with Stree 2, etc. Hence, it won’t be a surprise if audiences are treated to the promos for Prahaar – The Ujjwal Nikam Story and Eetha alongside Cocktail 2.”
“Both these upcoming films look promising. Rajkummar Rao is said to have done a stellar job as Ujjwal Nikam. Meanwhile, Shraddha Kapoor has essayed a powerful, author-backed role and will be seen in a never-before-seen avatar,” an insider shared with the portal.
About Cocktail 2
Shahid Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, and Kriti Sanon-starrer Cocktail 2 is all set to release in theatres on June 19, and ahead of its release, the film has received an A certificate from the CBFC. Cocktail 2 will mark the first-ever A-rated film in Kriti Sanon’s career. Meanwhile, it is only the second A-rated film for Rashmika Mandanna after Animal. For Shahid, it is the fifth adult-rated film of his career after Kaminey (2009), Udta Punjab (2016), Kabir Singh (2019), and O’Romeo (2026).
