Rohit’s record in Vijay Hazare Trophy
Rohit has played 18 Vijay Hazare Trophy matches for Mumbai so far, and in 17 innings, he has scored a total of 581 runs. The former India captain’s batting average in the premier domestic 50-over tournament is 38.73, and he has slammed one century and three half-centuries.
The two matches of the Vijay Hazare Trophy will help Rohit prepare for the three-match series against New Zealand.
India will face New Zealand in a three-match ODI series in January 2026. The BCCI selectors are yet to announce India’s squad, but Rohit is certain to get picked in the team as opening batter.
In India’s last ODI series against South Africa, Rohit slammed two half-centuries, and during India’s tour of Australia in October 2025, he scored a half-century in the second ODI and an unbeaten century in the third.
