There had already been one awkward moment between Ian Bishop and Rishabh Pant ahead of the Lucknow Super Giants’ (LSG) match against the Rajasthan Royals (RR) in Jaipur on Tuesday.
It got more uncomfortable
after that as Pant ended his customary post-match chat with the former West Indies pacer by saying, ‘We are a fu****g good team’. Bishop asked Pant about what he thought about the team, which was placed tenth after a ninth loss in IPL 2026.

“We are proud as a team regardless of what our situation is right now,” Pant said. “The kind of team we have, we know we can win this. Regardless of anything, we are confident enough as a team and as individuals. It hasn’t gone our way, and everyone knows that, but that doesn’t take away the fact that we are a fu****g good team,” he concluded.
