Shahid Kapoor and his wife Mira Rajput were spotted at the airport, amid the buzz for the actors’ upcoming film O’Romeo. The couple were seen leaving the airport together and kept things low-key, wearing
comfortable travel attire as they left the city. Shahid and Mira are frequently seen supporting each other at public appearances and events. While they keep their personal lives mostly hidden, the two do post glimpses of their daily lives on social media, which are keenly admired by their fans.
In a video published by a paparazzi handle, Shahid is seen walking behind Mira. While Shahid looked ahead, he almost collided with a man, but was immediately seen apologising.
The actor wore a white sweatshirt with black trouser and he looked appropriate for the relaxed travel. Mira was dressed in a light co-ord outfit that combined comfort and modest style.
Shahid Kapoor’s O’Romeo In Trouble?
Shahid Kapoor’s O’Romeo teaser was released last week, but the film is now facing legal issues. The film is purportedly inspired by a chapter from Hussain S Zaidi’s 2011 book Mafia Queens of Mumbai. The same book inspired Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi, which stars Alia Bhatt.
The chapter on which O’Romeo is purportedly based is about Hussain Ustra (Shahid Kapoor), Sapna Didi, and Dawood Ibrahim. It revolves around Ashraf Khan, seeking revenge from Dawood for her husband Mehmood Kaliya’s police encounter. Sanober Shaikh, Hussain Ustra’s daughter, has now sued the film’s producers for filming a film on her father without her approval.
Shahid Kapoor’s Fourth Collaboration With Vishal Bharadwaj
O Romeo is Sajid Nadiadwala and Vishal Bhardwaj’s debut collaboration. Vishal and Shahid reunite in the film after more than eight years apart. The two have previously collaborated on films including Kaminey (2009), Haider (2014), and Rangoon (2017). The film also marks Triptii Dimri’s first collaboration with Vishal and Shahid.
The teaser for the film says that O’Romeo is set against the backdrop of unrequited love in a powerfully emotional and volatile narrative that tackles passion, anguish, and the irreparable effects of love denied. The film also stars Triptii Dimri, Avinash Tiwary, Disha Patani, Aruna Irani, Vikrant Massey, and Tamannaah Bhatia. Farida Jalal is also seen showcasing her savage avatar in the teaser. O’Romeo is scheduled to hit theatres on February 13.
