BLACKPINK is back in the spotlight. Fresh off their powerful comeback tour, the four-member group is already gearing up for their next big move. Later this month, Jisoo, Jennie, Rose and Lisa will release
their third mini-album, Deadline. Adding to the excitement, the group has earned major international recognition, receiving an Honourable Mention on Billboard’s Greatest Pop Stars of 2025 list.
This achievement makes BLACKPINK the only K-pop group featured on the list, standing alongside top American artists, including Addison Rae, Ariana Grande, Benson Boone, Beyonce, Bruno Mars, Chappell Roan, Justin Bieber, ROSALIA and SZA.
Billboard Gives BLACKPINK Global Recognition
Billboard shared that BLACKPINK had a strong year in 2025, starting with the success of their song Jump, which reached the top 30 on the Hot 100 chart. The group also completed a tour that showed their reach. Each member, except Rose, explored solo projects. Jennie stood out with major shows, while Lisa and Jisoo gained praise for their acting work in big projects. Even though Rose did not release new music in 2025, her song APT. with Bruno Mars continued to do very well. The track reached number three on the Hot 100, earned Grammy mentions and finished the year as the top song on the Global 200 chart.

Album Details And Pre Order Details
After spending the last few years focused on solo music, acting and major fashion deals, BLACKPINK is coming back together as a group. Jennie, Jisoo, Rose and Lisa are set to release a new mini album titled Deadline. The album will be out on February 27, weeks after the group finishes their world tour.
So far, the group has not revealed the complete tracklist for the mini-album. However, fans believe it will feature “Jump,” BLACKPINK’s comeback single released in July 2025. The group’s previous mini-albums include Square Up (2018) and Kill This Love (2019). BLACKPINK last released a full-length album, Born Pink, in 2022.
According to their agency, YG Entertainment, fans can begin pre-ordering Deadline on January 15. The mini album will come in two versions, Black and Pink. Pre-orders will remain open until February 26. The agency also shared that more details about the album and purchase options will be announced through official channels soon.
