A five-storey building collapsed in Delhi’s Seemapuri on Wednesday, a month after the deadly building collapse in Satya Niketan.
Several people are feared trapped under the debris, according to initial
reports. Ambulances have rushed the injured to Rajiv Gandhi Hospital. The building is located near Idgah Masjid in Seemapuri.
The Joint Commissioner of Police, Eastern Range, said there were no deaths reported so far in the Seemapuri building collapse.

The Delhi Traffic Police post on X reads, “A multi story building has collapsed in Seemapuri and rescue teams are working at the site. Traffic is affected around Seemapuri Gol Chakkar, DLF Bhopura and adjoining roads. Every clear lane gives an ambulance and rescue vehicle a faster way through. Please avoid the area if possible. Do not stop, park or gather near the site, and follow the directions of traffic personnel. ”

A few people are suspected to be trapped after the front portion of a building collapsed in northeast Delhi’s Seemapuri area on Wednesday, an officer said.
The Delhi Fire Service (DFS) received a call regarding the collapse at 3.30 pm and rushed fire tenders to the spot. Some people might be trapped in the debris, he said.
