Bollywood actor Govinda was hospitalised late Tuesday night after he fainted at his residence in Mumbai. The 61-year-old star was rushed to CritiCare Hospital in Juhu following an episode of disorientation,
confirmed his friend and legal advisor Lalit Bindal.
“He was given medicine after consulting a doctor and was admitted to the hospital in emergency at 1 am,” Bindal told NDTV. The actor has reportedly undergone several tests and is awaiting the results. No further details about his current condition have been shared yet.
Govinda Visited Dharmendra A Day Before Hospitalisation
Interestingly, Govinda’s hospitalisation comes just a day after he was spotted visiting veteran actor Dharmendra, who is currently being treated at Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital. A paparazzi video of Govinda from outside the hospital has gone viral, showing the actor visibly emotional as he drove himself there.
Family members, including Hema Malini, Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, and Esha Deol, were seen visiting Dharmendra as well. Other celebrities such as Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Aryan Khan also visited the veteran star amid ongoing concerns about his health.
Reports about Dharmendra’s condition have been circulating for several days. He was admitted earlier this month after complaining of breathing difficulties. While unverified reports claimed he was on life support, both Hema Malini and Esha Deol have since assured fans that he is stable and recovering.

Meanwhile, Govinda’s wife, Sunita Ahuja, recently made headlines after candidly discussing her marriage in an interview with Pinkvilla. She reflected on the challenges of being a star’s wife and shared that she “wouldn’t want Govinda as her husband in her next life.”
The couple, who secretly married in 1987, shares two children – Tina and Yashvardhan Ahuja. While Tina has already made her Bollywood debut, Yashvardhan is set to step into films soon with a project directed by Sai Rajesh Neelam.
