Sonam Bajwa took to her Instagram and shared a picture with Diljit. As she shared the picture, the actress wrote, “Happy Birthday to the man who rules hearts worldwide.” Sonam and Diljit have worked together in three movies- Sardaarji 2 in 2016, Super Singh in 2017, and the romantic comedy Honsla Rakh in 2021. They will also be seen together soon in Border 2. She also shared a picture of them from the sets.
Diljit Dosanjh Announces Collaboration with J Balvin
Diljit Dosanjh celebrated his birthday this year by giving fans a reason to cheer. The Punjabi star, who continues to expand his global footprint, used the occasion to unveil an exciting international collaboration that instantly grabbed attention online. On his special day, Diljit shared a teaser of his upcoming track Senorita, which features popular Colombian artist J Balvin.
The singer-actor took to Instagram to post a brief clip from the song, calling it a “birthday surprise” for his followers. He also gave a warm shoutout to J Balvin, describing him as the pride of Colombia. The teaser, though short, was enough to spark curiosity, blending Punjabi beats with Latin influences.

Apart from his music, Diljit will next be seen in the war drama Border 2, the spiritual sequel to the classic movie Border. He will be playing the role of Param Vir Chakra awardee Flying Officer Nirmal Jit Singh Sekhon, who was part of No. 18 Squadron. The movie also stars Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, and Ahan Shetty. The movie is set to release in theaters on 23 January 2026, coinciding with the Republic Day weekend.
