A multi-crore yellow Lamborghini Urus was seized by Mumbai Police after a case was registered against its driver for allegedly speeding at 250 kilometres per hour on the Bandra–Worli Sea Link on Wednesday.
The action followed the circulation of a video on Instagram that showed the luxury SUV being driven at an extremely high speed, overtaking several vehicles on the sea link, where the maximum permissible speed is 80 kilometres per hour.

Police identified the driver as Faiz Adanwala (36), a resident of Khar West, Mumbai. The seized vehicle bears the Haryana registration number HR 70 F 1945.
During the investigation, police found that the Lamborghini is registered in the name of Super Well Comtrade Private Limited. The car is owned by Nirav Patel, a resident of Ahmedabad, who had reportedly handed over the vehicle to Adanwala for a temporary period. Adanwala is a car dealer by profession.
A case has been registered at Worli Police Station against the driver under relevant sections on negligent and dangerous driving. Further investigation is underway.
