Punjabi superstar-actor Diljit Dosanjh recently went live on Instagram, hours after his film Satluj was taken down from Zee5. The film, directed by Honey Trehan, had been facing hurdles over certification
for nearly four years, preventing its theatrical release. While it finally premiered on the OTT platform on July 3, it was removed just two days later. Now, during his recent Instagram live, Diljit reacted to the row, saying that he was absolutely certain the film would be taken down soon after its release. He also reacted to a netizen’s question about whether he will ever write his autobiography, confirming that he does intend to do so.
Diljit Dosanjh Says He Wants To Write An Autobiography Someday
During the Instagram live, Diljit shared that while he wants to write an autobiography someday, it will only release after his death. He added that he doesn’t want his family, relatives, friends or team to face any trouble.
“I will write a book before I die, but it will only be released after my death. I won’t reveal when it will be released beforehand, because if I did, people wouldn’t let me live. Even my own family, my relatives, my friends, and many people who work with me—our team is very large. I don’t want to put any of them through trouble. So, I will write the book before I die, but it will only be published after my death. I won’t disclose in advance when it will be released,” he said in Punjabi.
