The actor playfully revealed what happens when his wife gets mad. “Meri biwi jab gussa hoti hai toh mujhe pata chalta hai jab main sone aata hoon,” he shared, adding that when Twinkle Khanna gets angry, she pours water on the side of Akshay’s bed. The hilarious revelation left everyone in splits.
Akshay Kumar Celebrates 25th Wedding Anniversary with Twinkle Khanna
Recently, the actor shared a candid video of Twinkle Khanna to mark their 25th wedding anniversary. In the video, Twinkle was seen joyfully dancing to Usha Uthup’s iconic track Ramba Ho. Sharing the candid moment, Akshay penned a sweet note for his wife.
“When we got married on this day in 2001, her mother had said, ‘Beta, get ready to burst out laughing in the weirdest situations because she’ll do exactly that.’ 25 years, and I know ki meri mother-in-law kabhi jhooth nahi bolti hai… Her daughter refuses to even walk straight… She prefers to dance through life instead,” he wrote.
Akshay further added, “From day one to year twenty-five, cheers to my lady who keeps me laughing, guessing, and slightly anxious at times! Happy anniversary to us, Tina. 25 years of madness that we both love.”
What Do We Know About Wheel of Fortune?
Akshay Kumar is all set to host the game show Wheel of Fortune. Inspired by the famous international show of the same name, Wheel of Fortune gives players a chance to win a cash prize when they accurately guess letters in a secret sentence by spinning a massive mechanical wheel.
Following the original model, players must “buy” vowels with their winnings to solve difficult problems. The “Ghoomna-Phirna” and “Sass-Bahu Ka Drama” puzzle categories are highlighted in the promo.
Akshay Kumar announced that the prize ladder starts at Rs 1 and goes all the way up to Rs 1 crore, making the financial stakes astonishingly high. Alongside the host, the promo also offered glimpses into celebrity contestants, including Riteish Deshmukh, Genelia Deshmukh, Shreyas Talpade, Gulshan Grover, and Shakti Kapoor.
Wheel of Fortune premieres on January 27 and will be airing Monday to Friday at 9 PM on Sony Entertainment Television. The show will also be available to stream on SonyLIV.
