Yami Gautam is reportedly set to headline filmmaker Aanand L Rai’s upcoming horror-comedy titled Nayi Naveli. According to industry sources, the project is currently in the pre-production stage and will
mark Yami’s first collaboration with the filmmaker. However, an official confirmation is still awaited.
According to an exclusive report by Mid-day, Yami Gautam is set to headline a horror-comedy titled Nayi Naveli, produced by Aanand L Rai’s Colour Yellow Productions.The film is reportedly inspired by Indian folklore and is scheduled to go on floors in February 2026.

Gulshan Kumar, T-Series, and Colour Yellow present Tere Ishk Mein, Produced by Aanand L Rai and Himanshu Sharma, Produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar. Starring Dhanush and Kriti Sanon, the film released on 28th November 2025. The story revolves around Shankar, a volatile and passionate student leader, and Mukti, a psychology student who involves him in her academic research on male anger management. What starts as an academic arrangement slowly transforms into an intense and deeply toxic romantic relationship. Shankar becomes obsessively devoted, while Mukti maintains control by exploiting his emotional vulnerability.
Years later, their unfinished past resurfaces under drastically altered circumstances. Shankar is now a pilot in the Indian Air Force, while Mukti works as a counselor. Set against the evocative landscapes of Banaras and framed through a bleak romantic lens, the film examines how unchecked emotions, power imbalance, and ego can lead to betrayal, heartbreak, and irreversible damage.

Yami Gautam Dhar and Emraan Hashmi’s Haq has finally released on OTT, and it has been receiving a positive response. The actress also took this opportunity to thank her fans once again and expressed heartfelt gratitude for the overwhelming love and appreciation. Haq received largely positive reviews from all but failed to leave a mark at the box office. The film, which was made on a budget of Rs 40 crore, earned nearly Rs 30 crore.
