Varun Dhawan, who recently bought agricultural land, has been learning more about growing food and what goes into it. Varun has now invested in Better Nutrition, a brand that appeared on Season 4 of Shark
Tank India. He has also been named the brand’s ambassador, joining badminton star PV Sindhu. As part of the partnership, Varun will work with the company to turn his farm into a biofortified farm.
Through his partnership with Better Nutrition, the actor will get to explore this more closely while helping the company work towards making everyday food more nutritious.
Speaking about the partnership in a statement to afaqs, Varun said, “We’re working together to make my farm biofortified. And yeah, Better Nutrition is my brand now too. I really like the mission behind it, and I want to be part of that journey. You’ll be seeing a lot more of me with my brand. So this is quite personal for me.”
The actor also shared a video from his farm on Instagram, talking about how his plans have grown beyond farming. He wrote, “So… turns out farming was only the beginning. 😄🌱 I realised nutrition could be a bigger part of the journey. After Prateek and Aishwarya at Better Nutrition reached out, I was inspired to take this farm on its own journey, as well as become an integral part of the brand itself to provide india BETTER NUTRITION.”
Better Nutrition makes everyday food products such as flour, dal, rice and millets. The company says its products can contain up to twice the levels of iron, zinc and other essential micronutrients found in conventional varieties. The brand works with biofortified seeds and uses soil science to improve the nutritional value of crops. It also uses X-ray fluorescence (XRF) technology to measure mineral levels in crops at the farm level. This helps the company check the nutrient content and quality of its produce.
Meanwhile, Varun had two releases this year. He was seen in Border 2 in January 2026, followed by Hai Jawaani Toh Ishq Hona Hai in June. He will next star in No Entry 2. The actor is also reportedly in talks to star in Yash Raj Films’ first-ever horror feature film, which will be directed by Abhay Pannu.
