Popular Bollywood couple Chunky Panday and Bhavana Pandey are all set to feature as guests in one of the upcoming episodes of reality show Masterchef India Season 9.
The cooking reality show has returned
with a thrilling new season that featured a refreshed format and surprising challenges and twists for the contestants.

This time, contestants will take part in a “jodi” format that will put spotlight on teamwork and coordination between them, besides testing their culinary techniques.
Each pair will be representing the changing face of India, highlighting how teamwork cultural roots can get you great results in the kitchen. The new season celebrates ‘jodis’ that honour their heritage while stepping into the future.
Chunky and his wife will add star power to one of the upcoming episodes as guest judges. The couple will give a special challenge to all the contestants, asking them to cook various dishes for them, according to Tellychakkar.
During the special episodes, all the dishes will be exclusively made for Chunky and his partner, keeping the contestants on their toes and proving their worth.
All about Masterchef India Season 9
The ninth season of MasterChef India saw its premiere on January 5. It airs from Monday to Friday at 9 PM on Sony Entertainment Television as well as Sony Liv.
In the latest season of the cooking reality show, Vikas Khanna, Kunal Kapur and Ranveer Brar are featured as judges. They will not only check the cooking talent of the contestants, but will even judge their zeal to learn and grow in order to become the next ‘MasterChef’.
MasterChef India is a remake of the American version. As part of the show, people from all across the country are invited to cook respective dishes for the judges. Those who get selected are required to take part in various challenges to make it to the next round. With every episode, contestants get to reach one step closer to emerge as the next MasterChef.
The first season of MasterChef India came out in 2010. At that time, Pankaj Badoria emerged as the title winner and became the first MasterChef of India.
Hailing from Mangalore, chef Mohammed Ashiq secured victory in the last season of MasterChef India. Following his victory, Ashiq turned his title into a successful culinary business. He eventually started running his restaurant Masara in Bengaluru in late 2025.
