Sriram Raghavan’s upcoming film ‘Ikkis’, marks late actor Dharmendra’s posthumous screen appearance, and is set to release in theatres on January 1, 2026. The film also stars Agastya Nanda, Jaideep Ahlawat.
Ahead of its release, Dharmendra’s son Bobby Deol and his family attended a special screening of the film last night. Several paparazzi videos show Bobby Deol, his wife Tanya Deol and their son Aryaman Deol exiting after watching Dharmendra’s final film Ikkis.

A video shared by paparazzo Sneh Zala shows Bobby Deol stepping out of his car and greeting the paparazzi after watching his father Dharmendra’s final film, Ikkis. He folded his hands in greeting before getting back into the car. His wife, Tanya Deol, and their son, Aryaman, were seen seated in the backseat. Bobby appeared emotional as he took the front seat, and the car then drove away. Bobby Deol was seen in a white sweatshirt paired with denim jeans. Check out the videos below.

Legendary actor Dharmendra, affectionately known as the He-Man of Bollywood, passed away on November 24, at the age of 89, just days before his 90th birthday. A few days ago, his children Bobby Deol, Sunny Deol and Esha Deol shared a behind-the-scenes video of Dharmendra from the sets of Ikkis. The throwback video is from the day he wrapped filming.
The video shows Dharmendra saying, “I am extremely happy to be with Maddock Films. The team, the captain Sriram ji. This film is done in a very nice way. I think India and Pakistan, both should see the picture. I am a bit happily sad today as it is the last day of shooting. I love you all. Kuch kahi koi galti ho gayi ho uske liye kshama karna (If I have made any mistake, please forgive me),” he said in the video from a few months ago.
Sunny Deol penned a heartfelt note remembering his father Dharmendra and wrote, “A smile that lit up the darkness. Generosity without limits. Love for my papa is deeply rooted in our hearts. He has blessed us with his final film, Ikkis. Let’s celebrate him in movie halls this New Year.”

Sriram Raghavan’s biographical war drama film ‘Ikkis’ is based on the life of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal and focuses on the Battle of Basantar during the 1971 India-Pakistan War. The film’s title marks the age at which he attained martyrdom.
The film is all set to release on January 1, 2026. While Agastya Nanda portrays Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal in Ikkis, Simar Bhatia will be seen as Kiran. This film marks late actor Dharmendra’s posthumous film appearance, and he plays Brigadier ML Khetarpal (Retd.), Arun Khetarpal’s father in the movie. The cast also includes Jaideep Ahlawat, Shree Bishnoi, Suhasini Mulay, Sikander Kher, Rahul Dev, Vivaan Shah, and others.
