Tom Hiddleston has been busy promoting his film The Life Of Chuck. One of his latest promotional interviews went viral as he was caught off guard with ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift’s mention and his reaction
was unexpected. Tom Hiddleston was in the UK radio show Heart with co-star Karen Gillan and was surprised to learn of Taylor’s prospective Super Bowl participation. The actor and singer briefly dated in the summer of 2016.
During the conversation, the radio show host enquired about how the performers would spend their nights off. Tom Hiddleston joked, “I find myself in the sports highlights.” He added, “It’s football or if there’s been a tennis championship that I’ve missed. There are all these sports journalists who write really beautifully about sports, and I love reading everything. It’s kind of nerdy.”
But soon the radio show host changed the topic and said, “We did just find out Taylor Swift is a big fan of a sourdough recipe blog. Very, very specific, but I could see how you could get into that.”
Tom Hiddleston’s Viral Reaction
The mention caught Tom Hiddleston entirely off guard, and all he could say was, “Hmm.” While he appeared to be at a loss for words, Karen Gillan jumped in. She smiled and said the phrase sounded like one of Taylor’s renowned “Easter eggs,” which are concealed clues about upcoming projects.
The talk then moved on to The Life of Chuck but the moment became the highlight of the interview.
