Bhumi Pednekar’s fashion game, both on-screen and off, is simple, relatable, yet glamorous. The actor began her new year by taking a little break from work and spent it by the pool, amidst the greenery.
She brought the heat and took to Instagram to share a few photos from her tropical vacation. The actor wore a two-piece bikini and a cute bucket hat to shade from the sun.

Bhumi Pednekar, who was last seen on-screen in The Royals last year, showed off the results from her vegetarian diet in sexy swimwear. The actor has been pretty vocal about losing weight and maintaining a healthy, protein-filled diet while also being a vegetarian.
She wore a leopard-print bikini with a matching swimwear cover-up – a leopard-print sarong that she draped as a skirt and tied it around her waist.
To pair with the strapless bikini top, Bhumi Pednekar wore a cream crochet bucket-style hat. Keeping the accessories to a minimum, she wore a pair of gold-rimmed black sunglasses that she even wore while lounging in the pool.
For her makeup as well, the actor only wore copious amounts of sunscreen to practise skin safety while in the sun. She opted to go bare-faced, following in the footsteps of several international Hollywood actors like Pamela Anderson, Julia Roberts, etc.
Bhumi Pednekar on losing weight naturally
In a recent conversation with Soha Ali Khan on her podcast, Bhumi Pednekar got candid about how she lost weight and that people today think that is impossible without injectables. She shone a light on the ridiculous things she has been accused of, including removing a rib.
Bhumi Pednekar said, “For this other character, I lost a lot of weight. I was in the hospital recovering from dengue. I lost 12 kg and half my hair. The pain you go through is unmatched. It was Diwali and people were bursting crackers, while I had a splitting headache until I reached the hospital.”
She also stated how the timing of the role aligned with the time she lost weight during the sickness that led to further speculation. “People have even asked me if I’ve had a rib removed. What about the fact that I’ve put 10 years into working out and eating right? In Delhi, women straight up come to me and ask, ‘Aapne bhi Ozempic ya Mounjaro liya hai?’ I know enough people who have taken Ozempic and genuinely needed that medical assistance, so I will never judge anyone for it. But the fact is, I lost 40 kg and more without injectables,” she said.
