The 83rd Golden Globes kicked off with star power on stage as Priyanka Chopra Jonas teamed up with BLACKPINK’s Lisa to present the award for Best Actor in a Television Drama. The pair’s lively chemistry
delighted the audience as they introduced the nominees and announced the winner, Noah Wyle, for his performance in The Pitt.
Walking hand in hand onto the stage, Chopra Jonas said, “We are honoured to present the award for the best performance by a male actor in a TV series drama,” while Lisa added, “The nominees in this category had taken us on a journey with their performances this year.”

The presenters added their signature charm to the announcement. Priyanka joked, “Some had us flying across the solar system with rebels,” with Lisa chiming in, “others took us to magical faraway lands.” Priyanka then called out with playful enthusiasm, “Go stealers,” before reading the nominees: Sterling K. Brown (Paradise), Diego Luna (Andor), Gary Oldman (Slow Horses), Mark Ruffalo (Task), Adam Scott (Severance), and Noah Wyle (The Pitt). Wyle ultimately took home the Globe.
Beyond the stage, Chopra Jonas was radiant on the red carpet in a custom Dior Haute Couture gown by Jonathan Anderson, complemented by elegant jewelry. She arrived at the ceremony with her husband, singer-actor Nick Jonas, and shared glimpses of her upcoming projects during interviews.
“This one comes out on February 25th on Prime, but it’s my first as a producer here so it’s exciting,” she told the Associated Press about her new film The Bluff. “I get to play a part which is not very common for women, which is a female pirate. So many of them existed in the 1800s. We’re going with a rated ‘R,’ it’s going to be a bloody movie and it’s going to be fun.”
On the red carpet, the couple also shared a playful exchange about what they watch at home. Nick reflected, “It’s been such a great year in film and TV. We don’t really have a guilty pleasure thing in our house. Everything’s fair game. You can watch whatever you’d like.” Priyanka added with a smile, “No, we can watch whatever you like. I watch mine on my iPad.”
Priyanka’s year looks set to be packed with major releases. In addition to The Bluff, she will appear in S.S. Rajamouli’s Varanasi, portraying Mandakini opposite Mahesh Babu, with Prithviraj Sukumaran in a key role.
