On July 2, Anthony Jabin, who is a plus-one guest, told TMZ that the wedding ceremony and reception will both be held on July 3, but “not at the same venue”. Anthony, who is a celebrity memorabilia collector, said that the MSG arena is only the reception venue, and the real wedding ceremony will be held at a different location.
An Us Weekly report, dated July 2, also said that guests “still do not know exactly where the wedding is actually taking place,” and have been told that MSG will be “used as a meeting place” and that the ceremony will be the “ultimate surprise”. Meanwhile, preparations at MSG had been underway, and scores of fans gathered outside the arena to catch a glimpse of the wedding.
