Splitsvilla X6 has been creating waves ever since it premiered on January 9, quickly becoming one of the internet’s favourite shows. As expected, the drama unfolded early on in the season. The drama kicked
off when some female contestants claimed they already knew Kushal Tanwar, also known as Gullu, before the show. The revelation shocked both the hosts and viewers, setting the stage for an exciting and unpredictable season.
Splitsvilla X6 Started With A Bang
One of the most surprising moments came when it was revealed that three female contestants from ‘Paisa Villa’ already knew Kushal. It started with Preet Singh, whom Kushal had met earlier in Goa, and then two more contestants turned out to have crossed paths with him before.
This revelation left everyone stunned. Karan even teased Kushal, asking if he had been sliding into girls’ DMs, to which Kushal jokingly replied that he might have.
When Preet entered the show, she told the hosts that she and Kushal were very close and even shared that they had “a lot of fun together in Goa.” She went on to clarify that things didn’t work out between them and that they aren’t friends anymore. Karan, playing the host, then asked if Kushal was romantic, to which Preet replied that he’s sweet but not really romantic.
Another Controversy That Became The Talk Of The Town
In another instance, a controversy between Uorfi Javed, the ‘mischief maker’ of Splitsvilla X6, and contestant Niharika Tiwari emerged after it came to light that they also knew each other. Following this, social media users began speculating, with some suggesting that Niharika had previously criticised Uorfi’s fashion choices and height.
Meanwhile, content creator Shruti Mishra claimed that the tensions stemmed from an incident at a party where Niharika supposedly kissed Uorfi’s boyfriend in front of her.
As these theories gained traction online, Uorfi promptly denied the claims, calling them baseless. Niharika also responded strongly, expressing disbelief and criticising the act of spreading false stories about someone without knowing them.
