Bharti Singh recently found herself in hot water after, in one of the episodes of Laughter Chefs, she made a comment that left social media disappointed and angry. In the recent episode of the show, the cast
of Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 graced the set, and during the interaction, Bharti Singh, while commenting on Ayesha Khan’s look, said, “Ayesha ko dekh ke laga, Krushna phir se aa gaya.” Now, amid the backlash, Eisha Singh, in a chat with us at News18 Showsha, defended Bharti, saying, “Unka dil bohot saaf hai.”
When asked how she would want to react to the backlash, Eisha said, “Bharti di ka dil bohot saaf hai. Unhone vo mean nahi kiya hoga, but vo waise laga hoga. Mene vo episode nahi dekha, but clip dekhi hai. I didn’t know it had become this big. I don’t know if Ayesha has reacted to it, but she is also a very nice girl. I think, Bharti di ka matlab nahi hota hai, aur kayi baar nikal jata hai, but vo dil ki bohot saaf hai. (Bharti di has a very pure heart. She probably didn’t mean anything mean, but that’s how it might have come across. I didn’t watch the full episode, but I saw the clip. I didn’t know it had become such a big deal. I don’t know if Ayesha has reacted to it, but she is also a very nice girl. I think Bharti di doesn’t mean anything by it, and sometimes it just comes out that way, but her heart is very pure.)”
Bharti Singh’s Comment on Ayesha Khan
While looking at Ayesha, Bharti said, “Jab saari heroine aayi na, mujhe Ayesha ko dekh ke laga, Krushna phir se aa gaya, kyunki uski tarah lambi hai na (After seeing Ayesha, I thought Krushna returned because she is tall like Krushna).”
Ayesha was then seen running towards Kapil Sharma while trying to cover her stomach with her hand. Kapil also asked Bharti about her comment, saying, “Was this a compliment or what?” Parul Gulati also told Bharti, “You shouldn’t have said this.” To this, the comedian-host said, “Sorry, I am pregnant.”
