The source further continued and shared that the shoot for this song will be wrapped by February 12, and following this, only a two-week shoot will remain for the war drama, which chronicles the 2020 military clash between India and China.
The buzz that Salman Khan would miss his Eid release this year is growing strong. If they are unable to meet it, they’ll line it up for Independence Day.”
Battle of Galwan’s Storyline
Made under the direction of Apoorva Lakhia, the film takes viewers back to the harrowing 2020 Galwan Valley clash between Indian and Chinese troops. The story, based on the novel India’s Most Fearless 3, shows a rare border fight that turned deadly without any firearms being used. Soldiers resorted to hand-to-hand combat with sticks and stones, making it one of the most emotionally charged stories in Indian history.
Salman Khan will be seen in a battle-hardened, rugged avatar, while Chitrangada Singh plays a pivotal role in the film. With its powerful narrative and tribute to the bravery of Indian soldiers, Battle of Galwan is shaping up to be a significant cinematic homage to the armed forces. For now, with no confirmation from the makers, the film is scheduled for a theatrical release on April 17.
On the work front, he was last seen in Sikandar (2025), an action drama written and directed by AR Murugadoss. The film also featured Rashmika Mandanna, Kajal Aggarwal, Sharman Joshi, and Sathyaraj.
