The Allahabad High Court on Tuesday ordered the transfer of 14 judicial officers, including the Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) of Sambhal, Vibhanshu Sudheer.
Sudheer has been replaced by Aditya Singh,
the Civil Judge of the Senior Division, Sambhal, at Chandausi.
Sudheer, who has now been replaced, had on January 19 ordered the Sambhal police to register an FIR against then Circle Officer (CO) Anuj Chaudhary and SHO in connection with the shooting of a youth during the November 2024 Sambhal violence.
Notably, a 23-year-old biscuit seller was allegedly shot and injured in police firing during the incident.
As per the transfer order released by the Registrar of Allahabad High Court, Sudheer will be joining as Civil Judge, Senior Division, Sultanpur, replacing Alunkrita Shakti Tripathi.
Alunkrita Shakti Tripathi will be replacing Shubham Verma to join as Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sultanpur.
As per the official order, Urooj Fatima, Additional Civil Judge, Senior Division, Sitapur, will now serve as Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sitapur, replacing Anshu Shukla.
In addition, Anshu Shukla will be succeeding Gaurav Prakash to join as Civil Judge, Sitapur Division. Similarly, Gaurav Prakash will be replacing Rajendra Kumar Singh to join as Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sitapur.
Singh will be replacing Shraddha Bhartiya to join as Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kannauj, the order stated. Moreover, Jyotsana Yadav, Civil Judge, Senior Division, Kannauj, will be replaced by Shraddha Bhartiya.
Yadav has also been appointed as the Judicial Magistrate under section 9(2) of the Bharatiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) for trying cases pertaining to Economic Offences at Kannauj.
